This is a question that has preoccupied the minds of the Governing Body " When will the last anointed be taken up to heaven?" When did this nonsense begin ? Well for sometime after 1914 they believed that any anointed Christian living during the day of the Lord that started in 1914 and comes to the end of his life he is automatically whisked up to heaven without having to experience death in the grave here on earth. If that idea was to be followed to its logical extreme, there could have been a time where only 1 anointed remained here on earth. This is one of those bizarre teachings of the Watchtower.
This idea worked for a while, but when it became painfully obvious that most of the "anointed" that had witnessed the coming of the Lord in 1914 have died since we are now 110 years away from that date , this explanation was quickly faded into the background. Now anyone can claim to be off the 144,000 in which case if you reside in Bethel in New York you become the next governing body member but if you are a member of one of the thousand congregations of Jehovahs Witnesses you are being branded an idiot, an emotional disturbed individual and you are becoming a target for the local elders.
So here are the 2 verses that dictate their current understanding of the matter. Matthew 24:31:" And he will send out his angels with a great trumpet sound, and they will gather his chosen ones together from the four winds, from one extremity of the heavens to their other extremity" and Revelation 19:11-14: "I saw heaven opened, and look! a white horse. And the one seated on it is called Faithful and True, and he judges and carries on war in righteousness...Also, the armies in heaven were following him on white horses, and they were clothed in white, clean, fine linen." These two verses set the current timeline that they promote in their publications, first Jesus sends his angels to pick up all his anointed from the 4 corners of the earth in Matthew 24:31 and then after acquiring their new heavenly bodies they come back to fight the nations at the battle of Armageddon with Christ.
Now keep this timeline in mind and let's consider their current understanding about the Great Tribulation which kicks in with the attack on Babylon the Great , then they attack the anointed in Bethel New York and that elicits an immediate responce from Christ that comes back to protect only Jehovahâs Witnesses. Put these 2 timelines together and there is hardly anytime for suffering or persecution. I have never read in recent publications that section that speaks of how much persecution, imprisonment and painful deaths the current governing body will have to go through in order to inherit their coveted position as kings in heaven. THat is because suffering has never crossed their minds, they expect to go from their lavish lifestyle of free pampered accommodation, big free luxurious meals and roaming the earth with their many luxurious trips around the world to a place right next to Jesus in heaven. Well this narrative is crazy, is false and outright dangerous.Well the Bible is quite clear , you want to inherit a kingdom in heaven you have first to suffer here on earth. This is the same mental illness that had taken over the minds of the "superfine apostles" in the Corinthian congregation in the first century, they were more preoccupied becoming kings in heaven than suffering for the cause. Paul had to smack them down back to reality in 1 Corinthians 4:8-13:"
Are you already satisfied(=they are full of free food you can tell from how obese most of them are)? Are you already rich(=they are everything is being paid for them, they live above the living standard of most jws on earth)? Have you begun ruling as kings without us(=yes they have, they have already declared themselves kings before their time)? I really wish that you had begun ruling as kings, so that we also might rule with you as kings. 9 For it seems to me that God has put us the apostles last on exhibition as men condemned to death, because we have become a theatrical spectacle to the world, and to angels and to men. 10 We are fools because of Christ, but you are discreet in Christ(=dont they call themselves the faithful and discreet slave?); we are weak, but you are strong; you are held in honor(=they are like celebrities for most jws), but we in dishonor. 11 Down to this very hour we continue to hunger and thirst and to be poorly clothed and to be beaten and to be homeless 12 and to toil, working with our own hands(=when have you seen any of them working with their hands). When insulted, we bless; when persecuted, we patiently endure; 13 when slandered, we answer mildly; we have become as the refuse of the world, the offscouring of all things, until now."
These verses fit them like a glove don't they? Instead of being preoccupied on how they will suffer for the shake of the kingdom they constantly preoccupy themselves on how they will leave planet earth first class before the great tribulation devastate all of their members , the great crowd. That's why they keep returning on this subject because of guilt , because they can feel it that something doesn't add up here, and I'm here to tell you that you are right and if anyone of these "superfine" apostles of the Headquarters is watching this video get ready for judgement because as the Bible says the ones that set themselves as teachers they will receive twice the judgement.
James 3:1-12 Amplified Bible (AMP) this is the last verse today:
Not many [of you] should become teachers [serving in an official teaching capacity], my brothers and sisters, for you know that we [who are teachers] will be judged by a higher standard [because we have assumed greater accountability and more condemnation if we teach incorrectly]

hereâs a cautionary tale for anyone counting on past ties with jehovahâs witnesses to dodge conscription: theyâll throw you under the bus faster than you can say âconscientious objector.â a man in ukraine learned this the hard way after refusing military service and hoping his old religious connections would save him.

100% agree. You would not catch me putting my life on the line, or encouraging anyone else to put their life on the line to support US hegemony in a part of the world that should be none of their business. I think a substantial proportion of Ukrainians feel the same about this tragic war that didnât need to be fought, but this will never be reported in the West. Check out interviews with Jeffrey Sachs and John Mearsheimer for the real deal on this awful, unnecessary war.

am of Ukrainian heritage. I am assure you that is absolute and total bullshit.
Please explain. Didn't Russia made it absolutely clear that NATO should not expand to the Ukraine? What would the USA do if Russia installed nuclear missiles in Canada? We saw what happened when they did in Cuba. I think it sounded a pretty logical request that fell into deaf ears. As regards Ukraine why are they chasing around Europe their citizens to draft them in a war that can't be won? Are you happy with the fact that Ukraine has now become a massive cemetery.Who is the one who is benefiting here? I doubt it's the Ukranian people ..

As for me personally? I'd pick up a gun and fight. You invade my country, my home, threaten my family. What else am I supposed to do?
They aren't exactly fighting for their country more like Blackrock and the big corporates that want Ukraine in a perpetual war with Russia. At this point I history the last thing I'd do is send my child to fight a dirty war that started from the West

Problem is he had the support of one elder and some in the congregation. Also, I know many in Europe went in prison for the neutrality issue although not baptised jws .Me being one of them. The Watchtower has no problem "drafting" young men to their cause but they do take issue when later on in life these same men need their help. It is the same that happened in Germany after the WWII ,many jws went to the concentration camps for the Watchtower only to be disfellowshipped after the war because they raised questions about the Watchtower's stance in Nazi Germany.

Spoiler alertâthey didnât. Despite his claims of religious objection, the Rozhyshche district court slapped him with an 18-month prison sentence for evading mobilization.
Hereâs how it went down: The man had been part of Jehovahâs Witnesses since childhood but got kicked out in March 2022 for breaking some rules. Since then, heâs been trying to get back inâattending meetings and following the groupâs rulesâbut the elders werenât having it. During his court hearing, he argued that his religious beliefs should exempt him from military service and requested an alternative, non-military assignment. But when asked for proof of his faith, he came up empty-handed. According to the court documents, âThe TCC employee offered him to provide evidence confirming his religious beliefs, but the man did not provide them.â His past didnât matter, and neither did his current efforts to rejoin. As far as the court was concerned, he wasnât a Witness when it counted, so his âreligiousâ excuse fell flat.
Even with five witnesses backing him upâincluding a congregation elder who admitted the guy had been attending meetingsâhis past violations were enough to keep him out of the fold. The elder testified, âFor the past six months, he often attends meetings, expresses his desire to return; however, based on the significance of his violations and the specific circumstances concerning the accused, the elders of the congregation have not yet resolved the issue of his return.â So, because he wasnât officially reinstated, his objections didnât carry any weight in court.
Governments like Ukraine recognize Jehovahâs Witnesses as legitimate conscientious objectors because of their long-standing history of non-participation in war, but that recognition doesnât extend to ex-members or those in the doghouse with their elders. This guy found out the hard way that religious exemption isnât a blanket protectionâitâs more like a club membership that can be revoked at any time by a few elders and a piece of paper. Miss enough meetings or break a few rules, and suddenly youâre on the front lines instead of preaching on street corners. And hereâs the kicker: Ukraineâs laws around alternative service are strict and only apply to specific cases, typically younger people aged 18-25, and not during times of special mobilization. In other words, the law doesnât care about your half-hearted attempts to claim religious beliefs if youâre not officially in good standing. So, the court decided his past with the Witnesses wasnât enough to dodge conscription and found him guilty of avoiding military duty.
For anyone aged 18 to 55 in Europe watching the geopolitical tension rise, this is your wake-up call. Donât assume your old church ties or half-hearted religious claims will save you from conscription. If youâre banking on Jehovahâs Witnesses to vouch for you, rememberâthey can and will revoke your âconscientious objectorâ card at any time. So, if warâs on the horizon, better start making plans now because once youâre out, youâre really out, and no elder will be there to save you from the draft.

So there was a time the AWAKE magazine was printed every 15 days but now since Jehovah is blessing them so much the magazine is printed once a year, and here you have the 1st edition for the year , which is nothing more than an informatial of how good of a charity they are to their local community. So we read in the following box:
WHAT WE ARE DOING
FIRSTLY, Jehovahâs Witnesses promote a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Our Bible educational program has helped people to overcome addictions and destructive habits.(=like the habit of saving money for your old age, or maintaining a well paid job, or pursuing higher education, all very unhealthy habits for anyone who wants to do well in life)
SECONDLY, We adhere to strict safety standards in our construction projects. Volunteers who help build our meeting places and other facilities that are used to further our Bible educational work are trained to avoid injury. Our buildings are inspected on a regular basis so that they conform to local safety laws.(=now why would the best second thing about them as a charity is adherence to building regulations? Unless they are a real estate business disguised as a religion, in which case it makes perfect sense)
THIRDLY, we provide humanitarian assistance. During a recent 12-month period, we responded to some 200 life-threatening disasters worldwide and spent nearly 12 million dollars of donated funds to provide relief for victims.(=This is not their money , it is the money raised by local congregations or sorounding nations, they get their members to donate the funds, they get all the praise, perks and tax exemptions from local goverments and their members get a tap with running water outside their kingdom halls so they can wash their hands before entering the kingdom hall, see how that works?)
When Ebola outbreaks began to devastate the population of West Africa (2014) and the Democratic Republic of Congo (2018), we educated people on how to prevent the spread of the deadly disease. We sent representatives to speak to groups on the subject âObedience Saves Lives.â We provided handwashing stations at the entrance of each of our places of worship and stressed the importance of handwashing and other practical safeguards. In Sierra Leone, a radio announcement commended Jehovahâs Witnesses for helping Witnesses and non-Witnesses in the community to avoid the Ebola virus.
So there you have it the AWAKE! in yester years was written to expose goverments now it is written in a way to cosy up to goverments.
Jehovahâs Witnesses arenât just your run-of-the-mill religious groupâtheyâre also apparently safety experts, disaster relief heroes, and health educators! Isnât it heartwarming to see a group that spends millions on humanitarian efforts while, coincidentally, holding a rather impressive portfolio of prime real estate? Itâs almost like theyâre flipping properties with the same zeal they claim to have for saving souls!
Sure, they promote a âbalanced, healthy lifestyleââbut letâs not forget, the real balance theyâre achieving is between snatching up properties at bargain prices and making a tidy profit when they flip them later. All under the guise of charity, of course! Itâs like Monopoly, but with more Bibles and fewer rules. And their construction projects? Oh, donât worry, they follow âstrict safety standardsââas if flipping real estate doesnât already come with enough risks. But hey, free labor from volunteers? What a win-win!
But itâs not all brick-and-mortar. When disaster strikes, theyâre there with their checkbooks (and someone elseâs money, naturally). Twelve million dollars in relief sounds noble, but when youâre raking in hundreds of millions from property sales and donations, itâs barely pocket change. And donât get me started on their âobedience saves livesâ campaigns during Ebola. Nothing says public health expertise like advising obedience as the key to surviving a deadly virusâforget doctors and scientists, folks; just do as youâre told!
And the best part? Their cozy alignment with the latest UN agendas. Whether itâs promoting global health directives or pushing the latest medical guidelines, theyâve got it coveredâespecially when thereâs a chance to play nice with big institutions that align with their long-term goals. Because, after all, whatâs a little humanitarian assistance when you can look good doing it and secure some valuable connections along the way?
So hereâs to the Watchtower: part real estate mogul, part medical advisor, part charityâfully committed to doing whatever it takes to keep those properties flipping and the narrative spinning!
